Lifted complex berry fruit on the nose with the underlying gamey characters often associated with the variety. The palate has ripe sweet fruit and a supple tannin structure which makes this an enjoyable wine. Cellaring potential 3-5 years.

The Reserve Shiraz has been produced by carefully selecting the very best barrels from our 2001 vintage. Individual barrel selection was based upon fruit intensity, oak complexity & tannin structure resulting in a classic Hunter Shiraz that will reward current drinking as well as medium to long term cellaring.
